gatherings like these at Chestnut
hello everyone!
before summer is really over and we can´t do anything else to change its mind, i thought of remembering here some of my favorite gatherings from these last months.
I´m not a good cook (i know, shocking news!!, lol) but there is nothing better than a full table, flowers and happy people. Gatherings with the ones i love make me feel little again and bring to me that safe feeling i used to have as a kid. I guess they have a meaningfull role in the society because who doesn´t love good food?
Now, how do you prefer your table gatherings? With family or friends? I know, tough question, i can´t decide either, that´s why when the nice people at Chestnut invited me to come visit, i knew i had to bring both family and friends. The only thing is that part of my friends happen to also be family, cool or what?
When a new restaurant opens i´m always curious about the food they offer. Vienna has some great places, but there are never enough.
So, what did i like most about the menu at Chestnut? The black bun burger! Hellooooooo! ;)
Now, really, the black bun burger, yes (cuz i have never had one before), the salads (they´re so colorful) and the watermelon gazpacho! So, so good! Oh, and the pistachio crème brûlée is a must. You can´not go without trying it ;)
