..a lovely Irish pub. Yes, i know "lovely" is not exactly a virtue an Irish pub would like to have, but this one is! It is different from the average Irish pub clishés, it´s lighter, not smokey and has the right photogenic touch for a good Instagram picture ;)

Last Saturday husband and i went for the first time to Lane and Merriman´s and we loved it! We arrived around 12 am and it wasn´t crowded at all, so what do 2 instagrammers do in a perfectly photogenic, almost empty café/pub? They take hundreds of pictures, dah!! What else? (Nespresso...hihi, kidding)

Coffee for both, a burger for him, fish and chips for her, old books everywhere and the British news on the "telly". I felt a little bit in London, and man, i love when a café creates this kind of ambiance and takes you to another place!

I´m a breakfast and lunch person, but although Lane and Merriman´s is more the dinner/ drinks with friends kinda place, you can go have brunch on Saturdays. I wanted so badly to have the famous fish and chips, but next time i´ll also try the salty pancakes and maybe the smoked salmon with scrambled eggs, because that just sounds great! And yes, so going again with the girls for brunch soon!

newly renovated, i´ve seen some pictures from months ago and i like it better now
most of the people frequenting Irish pubs go for the bier, of course! But i´ve read they don´t offer Guinness bier, oh no, impossible! Haha, i don´t drink any, so i really don´t care.
