...actually, his first watch ever!

A pretty cool one, for being his first, i must say ;)

Well, it´s a gift from me to him, because i love how a good watch looks on a man´s wrist. You add a bracelet or two and it´s perfect ;)

After years of trying to convince him to wear one, he´s finally accepted, that´s why i really had to choose well. So i went for the Runwell 47 mm with the light brown leather strap that also shows the date (so that he won´t forget my birthday next time. Just kidding, he always remembers it ;) It arrived beautifully packaged in a big, wooden box (that i might steal from him for my own purposes ;) with a watch operation manual and warranty book and even with a leather care balm for the strap, how cool is that? ;)

A little bit about the company: Shinola are modern watchmakers based in Detroit whose goal was to bring local manufacturing back. And they´ve achieved it! They have created this big factory inside the College for Creative Studies where since 2011 they´ve meticulously hand-assembled meaningful, beautiful products made to last.

Due to the growing international demand, the Shinola website is now also accessible in German and offers products for sale to Austria, among other countries.

This being said, the most important part is that husband loves his watch and that´s it, i´m happy! ;)
